  1. U - safe and uniformly distributed load,KN/㎡;D - deformation deflection,mm.
     
  2. Deflections relevant to each kind of span around heavy line in the table,under the condition of uniformly distributed load=5.0KN/㎡,all meet the steel structure design specifications of less than 1/200th of span or equal or less than 10mm.
     
  3. The load and deflection listed in the table should be multiplied by Serrated bearing bar coefficient when adopting serrated steel gratings.
     
  4. The dead weight in table is calculated based on untreated plate. After making such procedure treatments as enclosure and hot dip galvanizing,the weight per square meter of steel grating after deep processing will be increased by at least 12% to 16% compared with that of untreated plate shown.The increased weight percentage for each type is different.The increased weight of hot dip galvanizing is calculated based on 7%.
The number of bearing bar for steel grating and relevant nominal width (longitudinal bar pitch at 40mm).
  1. Regarding bearing bar of 3mm thick, the width shall refer to the value in the table subtracting 2mm.
     
  2. The actual width would be slightly vary due to reasons from fabricating.
